In the News The Baton Rouge Kingfish have dealt three players off their roster to complete earlier trades.
The rights to forwards C.J. Buzzell and Chris Cerella will go to the Richmond Renegades, completing the two-team trade for forward Forrest Gore and the three-team deal for center Mike Barrie. Defenseman John Peterman goes to the Pee Dee Pride. Before last season, the Kingfish obtained goaltender Paxton Schafer from Pee Dee for defenseman Ted Laviolette and a player to be named later. Buzzell played 58 games for Baton Rouge last season, scoring 12 goals and 23 assists. Peterman (10 games, three assists) and Cerella (six games, two assists) joined the team late last season when their college careers ended.
